Samsung Galaxy Buds users, rejoice! There’s an unofficial manager created by Tim Schneeberger that allows you to control and configure your Galaxy Buds (Buds, Buds+, Buds Live, and Buds Pro) on your desktop. Whether you’re using Windows, macOS (Intel or Apple Silicon), or Linux, here’s a quick guide to get you started.

Bonus Tip for Improving ANC and Sound Quality

A Reddit user shared valuable insights on optimizing sound quality and ANC for Galaxy Buds2 Pro. Here’s a quick summary:

- Firmware Versions: Best sound quality is with versions AVK3 and WF4. Other versions tend to have harsh sibilance and treble.
- WF4 Version: Offers the best balance between ANC and sound quality. Sound quality remains consistent whether ANC is on or off.
- ANC Settings: In the Galaxy Wearable app, turn off Voice Detect to improve battery life as it keeps the microphones off unless needed.

To downgrade your firmware to WF4:
1. Install Galaxy Buds Client
2. Pair your buds with your PC and keep the case open.
3. Use the Galaxy Buds Client: Navigate to “View Information,” select “Install Firmware Update,” and choose the WF4 file. Confirm the downgrade when prompted.
